Careers

The Careers Department at Belmont High School provides guidance and resources to help students plan their futures, with support from a dedicated team for Years 10–12.

Career-Enhancing Courses such as Construction Safety (White Card), First Aid & CPR, Barista training, RSA and RCG accreditation.

Year 10 Education & Career Classes covering careers pathways, goal setting, HSC preparation, SBAT, TAFE and apprenticeship options, resume writing, interview skills, workplace safety, and digital literacy.

Ongoing Student Support, featuring help with resumes, applications, cover letters, interview preparation, plus arranging work experience and future direction interviews for Years 11 and 12, along with HSC EXIT planning.

Engagement & Exposure through career counseling, subject-selection guidance, interaction with potential employers and guest speakers, participation in community programs, career excursions, workshops, and support for School-Based Traineeships and industry scholarships.
