During Terms 2 and 3, students in Year 10 will be provided with information to help them make their Stage 6 subject choices.
Students will be given a Subject Selection Information Booklet that outlines the subject choices available to them. This booklet also includes information about career options and the subjects that would be most suitable for their intended career direction.
A parent information evening was held online on Wednesday June 10. Parents can tune in to watch this session via the video at the bottom of this page.
Subject selection interviews for all Year 10 students will follow, taking place on Monday June 15. Students have been allocated an appointment time (see schedule below), and will only need to attend school for their scheduled interview time slot. Students do not need to wear school uniform, however they are expected to dress neat and tidy, in a manner appropriate for an interview. Students will need to enter and exit school via the Henry St (bus bay) gate, using the intercom system as all other gates will be locked. Students will need to bring with them the (yellow) Planning Sheet they received in the information pack given to them at their year group meeting.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions parents/carers are not able to attend these interviews with their student/s.
Students are encouraged to give careful consideration to their subject choices and to ask for advice if needed. Parents/carers are also encouraged to actively participate in the subject selection process.
