General Forms
Voluntary school contributions
Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.
For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.
Welfare initiative
Parental contributions help us deliver important wellbeing initiatives for our students. Your support goes directly towards programs like Breakfast Club, anti-bullying and cyber safety education, drug and alcohol awareness, and resources that keep students safe and supported—such as sanitary items and wellbeing equipment.
These funds also enable us to bring in guest speakers, provide stationery and learning materials for wellbeing activities, and help cover costs for students attending welfare-based excursions.
Your contributions make it possible for Belmont High School to offer programs and activities that go beyond standard funding, benefiting all students in our school community.
Financial assistance
If you are unable to pay school contributions due to financial hardship, support is available. No student or family at Belmont High School will ever face discrimination or embarrassment because of an inability to pay.
To discuss financial assistance, please contact our office. We’re here to help.
The School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS) gives eligible school and TAFE students free or subsidised travel between home and school on NSW public transport, including trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) works with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement. We set syllabuses, assessments, teaching and school standards for all schools in NSW.
We’re proud to be part of the Wakul Karabang Community of Schools—a partnership between Belmont High School and our local primary schools. Together, we celebrate a strong public education system that welcomes students from all backgrounds and cultures.
