About our school

Belmont High School is situated on the shores of Lake Macquarie and the Pacific Ocean south of Newcastle. Established in 1953 as the first comprehensive high school in the region, the school has developed a reputation for strong academic performance and high standards of discipline. It has a focus on the creative and performing arts as well as trampolining and diving.
