Years 7 to 11 return next week – Monday 25th Oct.
Good evening students, parents, carers and community members,
I’m sure, like all our teaching and support staff, you’re all looking forward to the return of all our students to BHS next Monday 25th October.
We are currently awaiting updates and instructions from the NSW Dept of Education in relation to operational changes associated with reaching the state wide 80% vaccination rate. Suffice to say at this stage that students will return to their normal Week B timetable.
I will have more to say later in the week and provide you with a clearer picture of how the return will look inclusive of all COVID related protocols (sanitiser, ventilation, masks, physical distancing etc) as well as information on when the canteen and uniform shop can open, excursions, sport and other extra curricula activities.
In the meantime, you can dust off the uniforms and lunchboxes, and I will post a more comprehensive description of the preparations and expectations, related to our students returning to face to face learning, by this Thursday at the latest.
