Good afternoon parents and carers,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Relieving Principal of Belmont High School for Term 2. It is a privilege to be in this role and support our staff to deliver educational opportunities where the needs of all students are met and enhanced. I do understand that the role of Principal has been a dynamic one at Belmont High School for some time, but I can assure our community that teaching, learning and wellbeing of all students and staff will be my main objective in the role.
Already in my short time at Belmont High School, students and staff have been so welcoming to me. My values as a leader centre around genuine relationships with all stakeholders based on mutual respect and a mindset to continually improve. These relationships and improvement mindsets form the positive environment for all students to learn and belong to and allows teachers the opportunity to teach and deliver high quality educational outcomes. I will continue to set high expectations of all students to meet our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience in everything that they do at school and beyond. These are lifelong values for our young people to reach their potential and achieve success.
I look forward to creating and furthering opportunities for our school within the vibrant Belmont community. This will be achieved by working closely with the Parents and Citizens Association and all parents and carers when required.
